PARTS ADVISOR
£10.82-£16.23 | Hanley (Stoke-On-Trent)


Are you a confident and knowledgeable Parts Advisor looking for your next challenge? AES Business Solutions specialises in the recruitment and placement of temporary staff throughout Stoke-on-Trent, and we have a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and busy parts team to deliver exceptional knowledge and build ongoing relationships with new and existing customers for our client who are one of the UK's largest independent motor retail groups with operations across the North West and Midlands.

Hours of work for this position are
08:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings are required on a rota basis.


Key responsibilities as a Parts Advisor:

  • To maximise parts sales and profitability by using professional sales techniques.
  • Confidently provide customer quotes and advise on queries regarding parts to create customer confidence.
  • Complete all cost control duties with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • To record customer requirements and details accurately as per manufacturer's requirements and dealership policy.
  • Ensure product knowledge is relevant and up to date to ensure customers are offered current promotions
  • Liaise with Manufacturers or external warranty providers for information/approval on contributions.

Ideal skills as a Parts Advisor:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, with all levels of customers and staff.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of working within a parts' role.
  • High attention to detail and ability to input data accurately.
  • Ability to receive and register payment for parts ordered.
  • Excellent knowledge of warranty procedures and documentation.
  • Well organised and ability to manage a high workload.
  • IT and computerliterate.

Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£10.82-£16.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
