We are hiring Security Officers that deliver the highest levels of customer service, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.


How you will make a difference as a Security Officer

  • Monitor and manage key and vulnerable access points e.g., main/rear entrances, fire exits, secured ground floor windows in communal spaces/restrictions functional.
  • Monitor CCTV (door & vehicle entry), patrolling and securing the area.
  • Ensure visitors are correctly screened prior to them accessing the property.
  • Attend meal service to ensure smooth delivery, challenging any antisocial behaviour and being a physical presence/deterrent.
  • Ensure the safety of staff, service users and visitors, communicating any irregularities to the client.
  • Escort for smoking/fresh airbrakes at agreed period with housing officer.
  • Following procedures for various initiatives including fire presenting, traffic control and accident investigations.
  • Guarding valuables and maintaining incident report records and reporting concerns and incidents.
  • Protecting the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
  • Provide additional support to the client when attending Hotel Locations.
  • Report noncompliance with occupancy to housing officer (e.g., smoking in Room).

Essential Skills:

Right to work in the UK, 5-year checkable history and pass necessary security vetting such as Enhanced DBS
:


  • SIA Licence.
  • Able to commute to and from site and work weekends.
  • Able to resolve problems quickly and with integrity you will be working with confidential information.
  • Great customer service, communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Actively works towards ambitious personal goals, demonstrates enthusiasm and energy toward all aspects of work.

Desired Skills:


  • Fire Warden desirable but not essential (full training can be provided).
  • UK driving licence with access to own transport desirable but not essential
