About the role:


The role will play an integral part reporting into the financial controller providing regular updates on various day to day legal requirements.

In this role you will be managing the correspondence and liaising with our key outsourced legal advisors on a variety of legal matters.


About you:


  • Knowledge of legal practice and experience within a legal professional environment.
  • Good understanding of office practices and procedures in professional workplace
  • Confidentiality in the Professional workplace
  • Understanding of operational protocols within a legal practice or professional work environment.
  • Experience of the use of a case management system
  • Excellent understanding of Office 365 and other software packages, as well as TEAMS, Zoom and similar online platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client protocols and practices in a professional environment

Duties/responsibilities:


  • Case management of all legal matters coming into the business and liaising with our outsourced legal experts.
  • Liaise with the financial controller and key stakeholders across the organisation to provide updates on where the commercial cases currently stand.
  • A few areas of legal matters you will be party to are:
  • Contract Law which may include commercial agreements, employment contracts, off payroll contracts.
  • Litigation which may include debt recovery.
  • Corporate which may include dealing with changes in structure.
  • HR which may include new starters/joiners, disciplinary/grievance, and other employment matters.
  • Regulatory which may include working with specialist lawyers on regulatory matters.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Contract Law: 1 year (preferred)

  • Litigation: 1 year (preferred)
  • Corporate change: 1 year (preferred)
  • Employment matter: 1 year (preferred)
  • Law regulatory matters: 1 year (preferred)
