£32,000 per annum**
37 hours per week
Metalis Engineering are currently supporting a Tier 1 aerospace manufacturing company who are recognised on a global scale.

Due to a busy and healthy order book they now have an opportunity for a CNC Turner to join their team.

The company have a wide variety of machinery and various operating systems from machine > machine. Fanuc and Mazak experience is preferred but the company will consider individuals with Siemens, Heidenhain and HAAS.

You will be working on a two-shift system thatrotates fortnightly:SHIFT 1**: 06:00am till 15.45pm

SHIFT 2: 15.45pm till 1.30am (4 days Monday - Thursday)

Daily Responsibilities:

Manufacturing aircraft components within a high precision machine shop
Setting/operating CNC Lathes
Inputting and Editing Programmes
You will be involved with single parts and batch work
Working to engineer's drawings / Metric and English
You will be involved in changing tooling on the machinery
Working with a wide range of materials

Checking own work

Micrometres, Verniers, Gages / Working to very tight tolerances
