About us:
Integer Training Ltd is seeking a Health and Social Care Trainer/Assessor to join our apprenticeship delivery team in the South West.
We deliver our training programmes across the UK in niche sectors - Employability, Security, Business, Beauty, Care and Early Years.
We work with numerous funding partners, including the Education & Skills Funding Agency who directly fund our apprenticeship programme.We are committed to providing high-quality training and we have an Ofsted grading of 'Good' (Feb-22).
Job Summary:
This is a home-based role with regional travel across Devon and North Cornwall.
The role is flexible and open for permanent, temporary or freelance appointment, depending upon individual preference. We are growing our provision in North and South Devon and we expect case loads to build as time progresses, therefore, going forward, there may be an opportunity to establish your own working hours and days, which could be anything from 1 day to 5 days per week.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Training progressing apprentices through their Care programmes through facetoface and/or online learning on Microsoft Teams
- Assessment observing and assessing apprentices in the workplace and preparing them for end point assessment
- Marking & feedback providing support to apprentices through constructive and timely marking of work, and giving feedback both written and verbal
- Providing quality information, advice and guidance to your apprentices at all stages of their learner journey
- Quality Assurance working closely with our Internal Quality Assurers and Quality Manager through regular attendance at meetings
- Curriculum development working closely with our leads to continually update and improve our teaching and learning resources
- Reporting regularly to line management regarding all things related to the apprenticeship programme
- Level 2 Diploma in Care
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care
- English & Maths (you will need to either embed English & Maths content into your Care programmes OR deliver full functional skills qualifications)
- a professional teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, Education & Training Award, PTLLS, CTLLS )
- a professional assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA or equivalent)
- occupational competence - you will need a minimum of 2 years' experience of working within the care sector
- English and Maths qualifications at level 2 or above
- familiarity with apprenticeship standards preferred
- full UK driving licence
- IT competent

_An offer of employment and start date will be conditional on receipt of satisfactory enhanced DBS check and the receipt of 2 written references_

Salary:
£12.00-£18.00 per hour
