This is an exciting Commercial Finance Analyst, permanent opportunity to join an energetic and established finance team within a leading retail company.

In this role you will quickly get involved with budgeting, forecasting, business partnering and financialmodelling to support the whole companies progression.

Client Details
My client is a household name and leading retail company, with this role based in their London Office.

Their finance team, who oversee the productivity of stores, are now in need of a part-qualified analyst/accountant who can hit the ground running and bringnew ideas to a growing area of the business.

Description
As the Commercial Finance Analyst your responsibilities will include:

Deliver a consistent, accurate and insightful month end. Clear presentation to Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders of performance vs forecast, supported by detailed variance analysis.
Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for store costs; create and maintain robust and detailed financial models; gather, review and challenge the assumptions on future spend from our Operational teams. Create and present forecast packs to the managementteam.
Obtain a true understanding of the costs required at a store level, articulating the levers and variables that drive our costs.
Working alongside Operations, you will provide analytical insight to support decision making on investment decisions.
Influence the debate regarding the correct level of costs for the business.
Working with Operations provide recommendations to mitigate any overspends or future risk of overspend vs forecast identified.
Reconciling the accruals within the balance sheet, ensuring they are audit compliant.
Support the Finance Manager with adhoc analysis and new opportunity appraisals
Support the Store Costs Accounting Team with workload during busy periods.

Profile

Studying / part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and month end
Experienced business partnering
Experienced in commercial / industry sector (preferably retail/FMCG/manufacturing etc.)
Very strong with Excel (PowerBI benefit)
Driven, strong in a fastpaced environment and under pressure
Looking to start a new role asap

Job Offer
- £40,000 - £45,000 salary
