THE ROLE


We are currently recruiting for a Policy and Strategy Senior Manager to work within our existing Policy & Strategy division.

The policy and strategy team sits at the heart of the Bank.

We are responsible for leading on the public policy advice the Bank gives to Government as a Centre of Expertise on SME finance.

We draw on expertise from across the Bank, our own knowledge of thefinance markets, high quality research and economic analysis to ensure we offer Government unique insight into SME finance issues.


You will lead on key areas of policy and strategy development within one our key strategic priority of backing innovation, working flexibility according to demands and balancing ongoing responsibilities with time limited priority projects.

As part of thisyou will lead on the policy and strategy of many of the Bank's equity programmes.


This will involve gathering market insight, conducting research and analysis (in close collaboration with the economics team), collaborating across the Bank, and engaging government effectively.

You will develop new proposals, help shape existing interventions,spot risks and opportunities, and influence government thinking.
