About the role:

FiSearch is working with a Private Equity backed, manufacturing business looking to hire a Group Accountant to support their finance team.

This role will take ownership of monthly intercompany matrix, ensuring that intercompany transactions are reconciledon a timely basis in order to produce accurate group reporting.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, this role will provide high quality financial information for stakeholders.

The Group Accountant will be responsible for:

Investigating any P&L and balance sheet intercompany differences
Liaising with intercompany teams including AP, AR, Cash Management and Treasury
Posting monthly interest on loans between Group Companies
Posting monthly royalty payments between Group Companies
Posting employee expense accrual from SAP Concur
Assisting with external reporting tasks as required (national stats, turnover certificates, etc)
Adhoc project work as directed by the Head of Financial Accounting

Requirements:

AAT qualified or studying accounting qualification
High standards of accuracy with strong attention to detail
Experience working to tight deadlines
Comfortable with a fast paced role
Excellent Excel skills
