JOB ROLE:
Operations Assistant (Climbing Coach)

Active Nation are on the hunt for new
Operations Assistant (Climbing Coach) to join our team at our Lincoln Contract (Birchwood Leisure Centre).

Training Course to be delivered in April - date to be confirmed.

So what is a Operations Assistant (Climbing Coach) and why might you be right for the role? Encompassing the operations and presentation of our venues, interacting with our supporters and ensuring they are safe and happy, this role is about contributing to everyone's wellbeing.

A big part of the is to inspire our junior supporters to participate in our new climbing activities.

You will need a passion for exercise and physical activity and love working with young people (but also adults too).

An interest in climbing would be useful but we'll teach you the skills of the sport and how to develop young climbers.

.Do you ooze endless amounts of energy and enthusiasm?

Do you possess a brilliant smile and heaps of natural charm?

Our new "clip & climb" experience gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy climbing and are accessible for children as young as 4 as well as the most experienced rock climber.

Even if you don't have previous experience, but have a great attitude, then please get in touch as full training will be given.

Experience of working with children of all ages is essential along with a vibrant, fun and confident personality.

If you love people and are passionate about sport & exercise and have the brilliance to deliver remarkable service, then we'd love to hear from you.

We need you to be here when we're busiest, so you'll need to work a variety of evening and weekends to fulfil either the part-time or casual position.

Therefore, flexibility to be able to access the venue and work on a rotational shift pattern is key.

Active Nation Birchwood is our recently refurbished venue in the south of the City, and includes Gym, Studio, Immersive Cycling Studio, Shapemaster Toning Studio, Costa Café, Climbing facility, Soft play area, party rooms, all weather pitch and outdoor pitches.

Yarborough Leisure Centre is the larger of the Lincoln Contract Venues, located in the North of the City and includes 25m pool, Teaching pool, Diving pool, Sports Hall, Gym, Studio, cycle studio, all weather pitch, cycle track, athletics track and outdoor pitches.
