Our client is a successful small group accountancy practice, based in the East and South East of England. Due to their current growth plans, they are looking for a full-time Seniorto join their Corporate Services team and support a variety of auditand accounting duties for clients.

About the role
This role would suit a motivated and professional individual, looking for a new role with greater responsibility.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Senior will be responsible for undertaking high-quality audit and assurance assignments, accounts preparation,and tax compliance services for a range of corporate clients.

Key aspects of the role include:

Preparing and undertaking audit assignments as the, liaising with client's staff to ensure all information and explanations are obtained;
Developing client relationships, including identifying opportunities for additional services and business development;
Directing and supervising junior staff on audit assignments, and reviewing their work;
Preparing accounts to final stage for manager review, reviewing files prepared by junior staff and completing work programmes, administration paperwork, managing budgets and compliance processes;
Producing and reviewing VAT return forms, communicating with clientsand submitting to HMRC, preparingcorporation tax returns and Companies House forms.

The ideal person
The position would suit an excellent communicator, keen to progress in their role.

The person should be motivated to manage a team and also work independently in a role with tight deadlines, and be able to produce high-quality and accurate work.
