A knowledge of working with EHCP's would be helpful, as would any experience of supporting around SEND.

Essential however in this busy yet rewarding environment are qualities of:

- willingness and drive to learn from peers and supervisors
- good self-organisation and prioritisation of work under guidance of more experienced peers and supervisors
- ability to deal appropriately with people when they are feeling high degrees of anxiety and distress, and help to find suitable pathways forward in relation to their concerns
