Contract Type; 12 month Fixed Term Contract, full time 37.5 hours
Operating times; 07:00 am - 9pm
Shift Days; Monday to Saturday;
Shift Patterns; earlies, lates and long days**-
Salary range:Up to
£38500, plus shift allowances (depending on experience)

**About the facility

The Princess Grace Hospital opened in 1977 and includes 8 theatre's including a hybrid theatre, a robotic surgery suite and 3 laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic surgery providing a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none and includes fully integrated and equipped theatres.

There are many complex procedures carried out daily, across a range of acute specialities, including Orthopaedic Surgery, Spinal Surgery, Breast Care, Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary and Hepatology Surgery, Sports and Exercise Medicine, Urgent Care, Urology, and Robotic Surgery


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence based practice
  • Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of all aspect of patient care
  • Prepare patients and provide assistance for clinical/operative procedures
  • Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives

Skills & Experience

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • Scrub experience 1+ years
