Description

Fireco makes fire safety equipment, our main productions hold fire doors open safely. We are looking for a temp to join our build team.


Duties:


  • Assemble products to specification.
  • Testing products to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Packaging and labelling of products.
  • Reporting anomalies and possible quality issues.
  • Build units at an agreed daily/weekly output.
  • Assisting with stocking and storage of packaging and labelling.
  • To follow work instruction and other critical processes as defined in QMS.
  • To use the company systems to ensure a consistent standard of work.

Person Specification/Competencies:

  • Practical skills working effectively and efficiently with your hands.
  • Methodical the ability to build products to their specification.
  • Team Player work as a competent member of the team.
  • Concentration the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
  • Production line or manufacturing experience useful.
Other information

  • The role is for 39.5 hours a week.
  • Typical hours: Mon-Thu 7.30am 4.30pm with 30 mins lunch, Fri pm
  • Annual holiday 23 days (pro rata'd for placement length)
  • Initial hourly rate £11.10 this will raise in April.
  • Initial length 6 months

£11.10 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
