Description
The post for a Senior Care Officer has become available at our small Musselburgh home.

You will need previous experience working in the care environment with at least 2 years experience and
you must have SVQ2 in health and social care and working towards or willing to work towards SVQ3 (Adult) and Professional development award in supervision.

You will need a good command of English, be flexible, reliable, thorough and well organised and to have experience with client group.

Also must be computer literate.

You will work closely with the Care Manager to ensure standards of care are practiced with the home. Building relationships with clients and staff. Have a knowledge and understanding of the Health and Support Standards "My support my life". Ensuring high standards of practice are being maintained in the Care Home in line with SSSC codes of practice.


You will work within a team that contributes to maximising, motivating and encouraging the personal development and independence of the clients in all aspects of daily living within the home and in the community.
