This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, to work within the Radiology department at Colchester GeneralHospital. The job offers an opportunity to be involved in enhancing the Ultrasound service.

Your duties will include assisting the staff with patient care, involving direct patient contact andassisting Sonographersand Radiologists within the Ultrasound department.

You will also be expected to assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

You will perform administrative duties including inputting patient information onto the computerised patient information system, booking urgentscan appointments,as well as maintaining agreed stock levels of consumables used in the department.

You must possess excellent communication and Information Technology skills, and be a good team player.

You will need to be able to work under your own initiative but with a high level of supervision and with good support.

Appropriate training will be given.
