Responsible for advising and implementation, compliance, and control of Group safety, health and environmental matters.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Set, control and record Group wide site standards
Locate new and monitor existing use of subcontractors
Ensure absolute and continuing compliance and understanding of CDM legislation and ensure that the regulations are being implemented to a high standard
Provide Health & Safety inductions for all new starters and ensure existing staff are made aware of legislative changes and their impact
Instruct Construction Managers on Health & Safety issues and site standards

Reporting to the Group Safety, Health and Environmental Director, you will be responsible for the implementation, compliance and control of group health and safety.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional who can manage, maintain and develop group wide site standards.

You will be focussing on compliance and understanding of CDM legislation, monitoring sites and issuing notices as required, ensuring continuous improvement on all our sites.
