Description

SOMETHING ABOUT ME
I am an elderly lady living in Barry.

I try to lead an active lifestyle; The activities I enjoy are, singing, walking, going to the theatre and the cinema.

I enjoy eating out for lunch and looking in the shops.

I can get tired so there are days where I am happy looking at my photographs and cards that I have collected over the years.

I love looking at art books and flower arranging. I have a hearing impairment and have mid
- late Alzheimer's. During the middle stage of Alzheimer's, the dementia symptoms are more pronounced. Sometimes I can demonstrate some behavioural changes, including suspiciousness especially with people I do not know. I can also experience confusion about where I am or what day it is. My daughter is very supportive and will be with me when you first start to help me get used to someone new.

Once a relationship has been formed, I can be quite outgoing, chatty and enjoy socialising out in the local community.
