An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Junction 17 and Gardener Unit for an Activity Co-ordinator.

An interest in a range of creative, social and physical activities and a passion to share your knowledge and skills with people so they progress their Recovery is essential.

We are looking for the experienced and enthusiastic individuals to work on our CAMHS wards.

the post holder will collaborate in the planning, development and provision of a range of therapeutic, wellbeing and social activities for young people on wards.


You will be working a seven day a week rota between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 and provide patient centred, Recovery based activities with the aim of supporting discharge.


  • Under the supervision of a qualified practitioner the post holder will plan and coordinate and implement a range of individual and group activities designed to meet the needs of the services users.
  • The post holder will be required to use their initiative when working independently on the wards and are expected to report any clinical progress or change to a qualified practitioner and record findings in electronic care records.
  • The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users' and their carer's.
