Bury Talking Therapies is part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Programme and offers assessment and treatment for people referred via their GP or through a self referral pathway, with common mental health problems.

The service works with adults aged 16 and above, from various cultural backgrounds.

The service is made up of a multidisciplinary team, including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Counsellors, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Primary Care Mental Health Nurses, Psychologists and Admin staff


Bury Talking therapies offers quarterly CPD for our PWPs as well as providing weekly case management supervision, fortnightly clinical skills supervision and monthly process supervision.

Our PWPs have a mixed caseload of service assessments, treatments, SilverCloud and groups.

Applicants must be registered with BABCP or BPS or working towards
