Description

Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Import Customs Clerk to join their office in Basildon.

Essential

Min 5 years experience in Customs (Imports)

Essential

Experience of CDS
Experience of Road, Sea & Air Freight Clearances (Road & Sea Essential, Air Freight preferable)
Fully Conversant with various customs entries
Experience of clearances for a broad range of clients and products
Knowledge of ETSF, CNS, CCS-UK would be an advantage
Must be familiar working with Freight Forwarders, shipping lines & customs
Must be solution focused and able to use own initiative
Willingness to work towards an Assistant Manager role

SALARY:
Circ £35,000

HOURS:
pm MON - FRI (flexibility required on hours due to nature of the business)

Salary:
£27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
