A superb part time nanny position has become available in Coleshill, Buckinghamshire.

This professional and friendly family is looking for a live out nanny to take over from their maternity nurse, to help take care of their five month old baby boy.

They are looking for a kind, caring, happy and proactive nanny, who has plenty of baby experience, with knowledge of sleep training, weaning, etc.

They would like someone who can stay long term and become part of their happy family.

Mum is currently on maternity leave, so this will be a mix of sole charge and shared care. Mum works from home and is hoping to increase her working hours in time.

You will be needed for five hours each day, Monday to Friday.

The hours a quite flexible and can be agreed to suit the nanny and the client, but something like would be ideal.

There will also be the opportunity for some additional evening babysitting, which will be paid as overtime.

The parents are keen for their baby to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help him hit his various developmental milestones - with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (reading stories, sensory play, singing, age appropriate games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and trips to the park.

As he grows, the parents are happy for you to meet up with friends for play dates and activities, to allow their little boy to mix with other children, ensuring that he is happy and safe at all times.

The family live in a beautiful old country house in Coleshill. Although it is in a rural location, it is just a short drive from Amersham. You must be a confident and careful driver, with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed at the current rate.

This role will be nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated - emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, running the occasional errand, etc.

As well as keeping all areas used by the baby clean and tidy (kitchen, baby's room, playroom, etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of his laundry and managing his wardrobe as he grows out of clothes.

As he grows, you will also be responsible for providing him with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day (home cooked from scratch as often as possible).

These meals are to be blended, if required, (age appropriate) with plenty made in advance and frozen for the parents to use for him at the weekends.

The family have a friendly Labrador, so someone who is happy to have him around is a must, although you will not be responsible for his care.

This is a wonderful role would suit someone who is happy to make a long-term commitment.
