Are you a highly motivated, compassionate and experienced nurse leader who is looking to explore their potential at a higher grade? Within Division A we have an exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity for a senior nurse to become our Deputy HON.

We are looking for someone who is a natural role model, who consistently demonstrates the Trust values with a passion for supporting and developing others while providing leadership at the senior level this post requires.

You will be a visible nurse leader with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams, collaborating with others and forging strong professional networks.


This role will report directly to the Divisional Head of Nursing and have an individualised portfolio of clinical areas and staff, deputising for the Divisional Head of Nursing, whilst leading on delegated projects within the division and assisting with shaping the Divisional nursing direction and strategy.

The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Divisional Head of Nursing with the development and delivery of clinical services and professional standards and the development of nursing leadership within the Division.
