JOB TITLE:
Finance Support Consultant


LOCATION:
Glastonbury, Somerset (Hybrid working - 2 days per week office based)


HOURS:

The Support Team work on a rota system to cover different shift patterns, allowing the business to support both UK and International customers.


Operating hours to cover UK customers:

Early shift - 8am to 4.30pm


Standard shift - 8.45am to 5.15pm


Operating hours to cover International customers:

Night shift - 1am to 9.30am


Sunday shift - 6am to 2pm

Shifts to cover international customers are introduced once employees have passed probation. They are currently not applicable for this role, but will be in the near future. Any international hours worked are supplemented by additional remuneration.


SALARY:
£20K - £24K PA (plus bonuses and pay enhancements)

KEY DUTIES:


  • Through developing a deep understanding of our finance products, you will help diagnose, investigate, and resolve customer issues.
  • Through regular communication, you can develop a trusting relationship with customers, allowing you to not only resolve issues but provide advice on how they can get the best out of products through functionality and best practice.
  • By collaborating with the team and other departments to promote the sharing of knowledge and information, you can make sure the customer gets the best possible experience.
  • Working alongside Customer Account Managers, you will use your direct communications to keep customer and personal records up to date.
  • By meeting individual and team targets, you can contribute to the department's and ultimately the company's, continued success.

The Support department can be viewed as a gateway to other areas of the business, with previous team members progressing their careers into development, consultancy, sales, and management roles.

THE CANDIDATE:


  • Good understanding of accounting practices
  • Previous experience using accounting software.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • It would be beneficial to have prior experience in a call centre or similar customer support position.
  • An ability and willingness to absorb mew aspects of technology.
