A well-established, thriving manufacturing organisation based in rural Ashford are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Engineer to their team.


The team have a wealth of mechanical and electrical experience between them and are led by an experienced, hardworking manager who has been at the helm for close to 9 years.

So if you're looking to join company who can offer a stable working environment,we have the role for you

Day to day duties will include Mechanical fault finding and rectification, planned preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.


To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 3 years in a Manufacturing/Engineering Maintenance background as well as holding a recognised City & Guilds, Mechanical ONC/HNC qualification and be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressureand meet deadlines.

Any electrical experience or qualification will be an advantage but not essential.

This role requires you to work to a unique shift pattern on a 2 weekly rota as follows:
Week - Monday (7.30am - 6.15pm), Tuesday (7.30am - 6.15pm), Wednesday (7.30am - 7.30pm), Thursday (7.30am - 7.30pm)
Week - Wednesday (7.30am - 7.30pm), Thursday (7.30am - 7.30pm), Friday (7.30am - 7.30pm), Saturday (6.00am - 4.00pm)

Although these are the core hours this role will require you to commit to overtime to complete emergency repairs to allow production to run smoothly.
