Location:
Westend, Surrey
Salary: 40,000 to 45,000
Duration:
Full time - Mat Cover for 6-12 months
Hours: 9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri
- Hybrid working 2 fixed days a week in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 3 days from home.
To plan, generate content, produce and publish our clients six times yearly magazine Regional International and its annual Yearbook.
To implement aspects of our clients corporate communications strategy relevant to the role to help raise the profile of the association and its work.
Key Responsibilities of a Editor Corporate Communications
- The Editor Corporate Communications reports to the General Manager Business Development, Membership and Communications.
- The job holder prepares an annual editorial plan for each issue of Regional International and the Yearbook.
- The job holder plans, commissions and generates the editorial content of Regional International and the Yearbook.
- The job holder is responsible for ensuring the timely and highquality design, production and distribution of Regional International and the Yearbook in coordination with the association's appointed designer.
- The job holder will carry out and implement aspects of our client's corporate communications strategy relevant to the role designed to raise the profile of the association and its work.
- The job holder will establish and maintain relations with Europe's key trade and mainstream media representatives.
- The job holder is responsible for writing various communication materials including press releases, magazine articles and industry comments, to proof read documentation as required, for example, the biweekly news publication Members' Update and to organise any required functions associated with corporate communication activities.
Key Competencies of a Editor Corporate Communications
- The job holder must be highly motivated, a great communicator, extremely efficient and able to work with mínimal supervision to deliver what is needed in the role.
- The job holder needs to have excellent writing skills and have editorial experience. The job holder will also implement the aspects of our clients annual communications strategy relevant to the role.
- The job holder must be fully computerliterate, free to travel across Europe with some overnight stays and hold an unrestricted driving licence in the UK.
