CNC Machinist

Permanent

Competitive salary + 25% shift allowance, 25 days' holiday (plus Bank Holidays), 8% matched pension

6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm (alternative weeks)

Farnborough

We are working with one of our clients who are global manufacturers of sensors. They are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. Your duties will include machine shop operations, component work, precision machiningtasks and maintenance of shop equipment. Experience working as a CNC Machinist within either aerospace or a highly regulated production environment is preferred for this role.

CNC Machinist

The responsibilities of the CNC Machinist include:

Programming, setting and operating using Mazak machine tools & controls working with a variety of aerospace super alloys
Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation
Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department
Support quick turnaround innovation tasks
Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross

- training within department

Further opportunities exist to expand skills in CNC grinding

CNC Machinist

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

Experience with Milling and Turning
Ability to programme, set and operate multiple machine tools (Mazatrol controls preferred)
Proven experience in an aerospace or other highly regulated production environment
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
