A fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator has arisen to work for a well-established and progressive local business. Job Description:


The role of the Freight on Board Coordinator will work closely with the FOB and Direct Team and manage their own clients which will include raising purchase orders and sales orders.

Reporting to the FOB Manager the role will ultimately be administration, raisingorders, and liaising with suppliers through overseas offices.


Duties will include:

  • The Logistics Coordinator will be raising and managing Sales and Purchase orders for their clients
  • Producing and using relevant reports to ensure customer requirements are followed
  • As the Freight on Board Coordinator, they will be managing customer SLA and ensuring they are always met
  • Updating and maintaining the bespoke CRM system
  • Liaise with the Accounts department to ensure payments are received prior to shipments
  • Chasing product samples and ensuring they are delivered to clients on time
  • The Freight on Board Coordinator will liaise with overseas offices in relation to purchase and sales orders and product information
  • Verifying inspection reports, sales confirmations, and requirements
  • Assisting with any queries from other departments and field sales
  • Supporting team members and the Buying & Purchasing team
  • Previous experience working as a customer service administrator, sales coordinator, or sales administrator would be preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and administration skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Packages
  • Experience working within a highly demanding busy office
  • Confident and able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: customer service administration, customer support administration, and logistics administration.


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30 am pm


Salary:
£22,000 per annum
