Optima Site Solutions require 1x Pipefitter/ Welder in the southampton area.

Duties:


  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
  • Build and assemble piping systems using various materials
  • Weld, solder, or glue pipes together as needed
  • Install supports, valves, and control systems
  • Inspect and test installed systems for leaks or other issues
  • Repair or replace damaged pipes or components as necessary

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in using power tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques including stick welding
  • Ability to plumb and maintain piping systems effectively

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Nice-to-Have Skills:


  • Experience with stick welding techniques
  • Familiarity with maintaining industrial piping systems
