Job Purpose:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised Operations Team co-ordinator to facilitate the flow of administration tasks throughout the order lifecycle.

We are recruiting this pivotal role to administer and stream line the Operations function from order acknowledgement through to order dispatch, general office tasks and supporting the operational smooth running of the European part our global business.


The Operations Team co-ordinator will professionally demonstrate the Auger Torque values being nimble, open and global in all interactions with customers, staff and visitors.

This is a full-time role based at our Hazleton offices, near Cheltenham.


Key Responsibilities
The core responsibility of this role will be to deliver end to end processs administration for all elements of the operations function including:

  • Order Acknowledgements
  • Creating and monitoring Works Orders
  • Monitoring stock levels and trends
  • Receipting in & despatching of goods
  • General Purchasing
  • Physical/electronic maintenance of filing systems
  • Organising UK and European freight
  • Assisting the shop floor with container deliveries
  • Tracking orders throughout the process and highlighting any areas of risk to the Production Manager
  • To bring fresh eyes to the operations processes to explore and implement improvements in collaboration with others
  • To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff
  • Supportive Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to resolve operational issues and encourage collaboration across the global team
  • Provide flexible and varied administration support to operations team members particularly the Operations Manager
  • To actively engage with the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the operations function and company as a whole
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace particularly in the operations office
  • All employees are responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
  • Other duties or activities may be assigned to the Operations Team Administrator according to the requirements of customers, the sales team and the Auger Torque business

Key Attributes:


  • Experience in a construction operations environment is ideal but not essential
  • Experience and confidence in complex and multifaceted administration is essential
  • Flexibility to contribute to a varied workload as part of a busy team
  • Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and varying priorities.
  • Confidence to be an proactive member of the team with a can do attitude
  • Have a thorough, detailed and highly organised approach with a desire for process improvement
  • A fork lift truck license to assist with container shipments is ideal but not essential
  • Experience of Sage or similar would be advantageous.
