Customer Service Advisor (Medical)

High Wycombe

£22k - £23k per annum


Our client, a fantastic and extremely busy medical company based in High Wycombe, is seeking a Customer Service professional to join their team.

This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for managing a first-class experience and to assist their clients on both product information and the services provided.


Ideal applicants for this opportunity will have a track record in Customer Service and be able to demonstrate their ability to manage a high volume of telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

You will need excellent communication skills (both written and on the phone), be able to demonstrate empathy over the phone and take responsibility for providing positive customer journeys;


Role responsibilities:


  • Providing a firstclass service to ensure clients remain happy to use the service
  • Manage complaints
  • Ensure new patients fully understand the services provided
  • Keep in regular contact with your patients
  • Actively promote products and services
  • Work closely with the Health Care Professional to ensure everyone is kept up to date
  • Take an active part in departmental meetings
  • Action reports within the time scale set
  • Keep the database clean and up to date

Person specifications

  • Proven telephone based customer service background
  • Experience of upselling and cross selling products
  • Have empathy towards patients with complex medical issues
  • Be able to manage a high volume of calls
  • Possess a persuasive skill set
  • Excellent telephone manner and excellent written communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and work to targets
