This is a hugely exciting role in our Mecca business to manage and lead a portfolio of initiatives that deliver sustainable operational change.


  • To play a leading role in modernizing the operation of our Mecca Bingo clubs
  • To be a key player in the centralized control of BAU operations.
  • To identify, scope and act upon insight to eliminate business inefficiencies and optimize the quality of our operations to deliver brilliant customer experiences through simple and industry leading operational activities.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience of taking large scale change through full project cycle
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of lean methodologies throughout previous projects
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting and financial acumen
  • Managing project budgets
  • Fluency in Excel is essential to allow the collation and understanding of data required for the role
  • High level of power points skill to enable clear communication across all levels of the business
  • Operational experience in hospitality at management level
  • Knowledge of process mapping and value stream mapping
  • Experience in running workshops and strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Customer Satisfaction programs and improvement activities
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent qualification/accredited

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • To conduct full process mapping reviews with stakeholders from retail venues and support office functions to identify and remove inefficiencies
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
  • Support the business as usual running of centrally owned products and processes
  • Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project, program, and operational teams
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
  • Support the business as usual running of centrally owned products and processes
  • Establish and maintain working partnerships with across the Rank group to ensure smooth implementations of group wide workstreams and identify opportunities to learn from other business units
