A vacancy has arisen for a team administrator within Tower Hamlets.

The post holder will work for the Home Treatment Mental Health Team, using their initiative to support providing an effective and efficient administrative and clerical service to the service.

S/he will be expected to work flexibly within the administrative team and contribute to the smooth functioning of the systems underpinning service to service users.

The post holder will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be able to work without direct supervision and exercise initiative.

The ability to multi-task is also essential to support the data management processes and generally provide an administrative service which will help to bring out the best in the Home Treatment Team.


You will need to have a good command of the English language; able to read and understand letters; have excellent Microsoft Office skills including an understanding of Office 365; able to undertake Administrative/secretarial tasks such as opening and closing of cases; managing diaries, typing of letters, taking minutes at meetings, manipulating databases, understanding RiO;.


You will be a self-starter and It will be vital for you to have effective minute taking and IT skills; which are essential requirements of the role as well as; being educated to GCSE standard as a minimum.

A knowledge of RiO and or EMIS or NVQ level 3 in Business Administration would be an advantage.
