Our team:

To help achieve our ambitious growth goals we are looking for a production planner to join our friendly and highly skilled production team.

You'll be working with our Works Manager and Pre-press team to utilise your diverse skillset and learn new skills.

It is a fantastic opportunity for a someone eager to expand their knowledge of the entire operational process and become a vital player in our multi-functional team.

The role will appeal to someone who is comfortable taking on shared duties and enjoys a varied workload.

We are looking for an organised and focussed individual with superb attention to detail.

You'll be preparing and planning work for multiple print and finishing machines, providing despatch lists, and advising on delivery dates.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.


Job Purpose

• Carry out tasks as required to ensure successful planning of works. Including ordering stocks/origination/sundries, organising schedules, ordering sundries & prepress to achieve first class service levels.
• To support the Works Manager and prepress team where necessary.
• Escalating any issues back to the Sales or estimating team so these can be addressed directly with the customer.
• Organising daily work schedules for print and finishing.

Experience Preferred
Planning / Scheduling in a production environment


Key Skills & Characteristics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
IT Knowledge of Excel and Outlook
