Fixed Term Contract until 31 st December 202- This role is offered on a hybrid basis, it can be based in either our Edinburgh, Wythall or Telford office working a mix of home and office.

Salary and benefits:
Up to £45,00 per annum (pro rated) plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more
We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as an Internal Controls Consultant within our _Heritage Customer Risk & Governance _team.

The roleWhat are we looking for?**- _Knowledge required includes expert level in control design and operation, with the professional competency to assess associated operational risks. _
- _A background in Audit, Assurance or Risk Management practice _
- _Analytically minded individuals with high attention to detail and accuracy combined with an organisational skillset which allows for task prioritisation and time management _
- _Applicants must have strong communications skills, including influencing and stakeholder management/engagement, with the ability to communicate in a straight forward and unambiguous manner. They will need to demonstrate risk management / internal control concepts in a simple way to be understood by both Line 1 stakeholders and senior leadership where there are different levels of understanding. _
- _Ideally a background in financial services / Pensions
