As the Senior Network & System Administrator, you'll help to deputise the IT team, working closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to manage everything Network & System related.

This business will give you the opportunity for continuous progression and will fund IT related qualifications and certifications to aid your development.

Newark, Nottinghamshire

£50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Responsibilities

Windows Desktop & Server support
Designing, implementing, and supporting LAN/WAN networks
Working within strict SLA's
Maintaining, updating, and securing systems and databases
Identify and manage any escalated faults
Liaise with third party suppliers for major incidents or network improvements
Monitor data traffic and ensure highquality transmission
Helping to manage the existing IT team, sharing your knowledge and expertise

About you

3 years in a similar role
Advance knowledge of IOS, VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF routing and switches technologies
Knowledge of O35, M365 and Azure
Experience implementing fibre networking
Excellent communication skills
A cando attitude and the ability to your initiative to continuously improve system functions
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
PowerShell scripting or similar
Knowledge of Linux
