Systems Support and Development Technician - Chesterfield - £30,000 - £35,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a leading business who are looking to recruit a Systems Support and Development Technician to join their friendly team.

Reporting to the IT Director you will provide support and development services to the business.
You will assist and resolve any IT issues across the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role who has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities of the Systems Support and Development Technician:

  • Multisite 1st and 2nd line support (UK and Overseas)
  • Receive user requests, ensuring enough detail is recorded to support efficient resolutions
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation and change controls
  • Perform routine operations and procedures
  • Achieve agreed support service and individual targets
  • Participate in projects, meeting agreed target and timescales
  • Advising on new technologies and solutions
  • Delivering technologies and solutions into the business
  • Train and communicate changes within the Group IT function to the wider business
  • Reviewing outstanding support calls and address

Required Skills & Experience:

- knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange administration

  • VMWare Workspace One PC deployment and management
  • Have technical authoring skills and be able to write clear and detailed technical document
  • Microsoft Group Policy Management
  • Bartender labelling solution
  • Network installation and administration structured cabling, switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls
  • Hardware maintenance and servicing
