We are on the lookout for a creative and skilled Lecturer in Art and Graphic Design to join our fantastic Art Design and Media team.

With a strong emphasis on delivering top-notch education, this role offers a great chance to be part of a well-established, talented, and supportive team.

You'll have the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of students across Further and Higher Education programs and play a role in the evolution and management of the curriculum as part of the Creative Industries team.


As a Lecturer in Art and Graphic Design, you get to influence the future of students, equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and training to help them reach their aspirations while contributing to an outstanding student experience.


We are seeking an individual with current industry insights, a deep love for the Creative Industries and education, and proficiency in both practical and theoretical Art and Graphic Design instruction. You'll also be tasked with orchestrating/creating live projects and exhibitions.

This is an exciting moment to join our team as we expand our offerings and enhance our courses in the Creative Industries. We are in search of someone who flourishes in a collaborative environment.

You will collaborate closely with peers to enrich the overall learning journey, incorporating innovative teaching techniques and staying abreast of the latest industry developments. Your enthusiasm for technology, strong communication abilities, and dedication to student achievement will be crucial in this position.


As a Lecturer in Art and Graphic Design, you should**:

  • Degree in Art and design (or other related discipline)


  • GCSE A

  • C in Maths and English qualifications or equivalent
  • Relevant software skills including: Illustrator, After Affects, InDesign
  • Experience of working in the Graphic Design industry
  • Experience of working with 1618 year olds, ideally in a teaching capacity
  • Experience of teaching on a range of Art and Design courses and levels both practical and theoretical
