Position Overview:

At The Edge HPL, we are dedicated to enhancing health and performance through advanced physiological testing and personalised strategies. We serve a diverse clientele, including elite athletes across a range of sports, executives, and lifestyle clients.

We are seeking a graduate / entry-level physiologist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding 12-month journey with potential for permanent employment.

The role will provide the opportunity to receive comprehensive training and mentorship through a 12-month Personal Development Programme.

As such, we are looking for someone who is highly coachable and passionate about developing their practical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Also, someone who is keen to develop their aptitude of translating complex science into practical and meaningful advice to best serve and support our clients.

Role Description:

• Support our Senior Physiologist in the delivery of advanced physiological tests

Primarily, these tests are:

_V_O2max and lactate threshold testing, advanced sweat testing, resting metabolic rate and fuel efficiency testing, body composition analysis, and blood tests.

• Assist in data analysis, report generation, and client support / advice.
• Contribute to team workshops and presentations for collective continued professional development.
• Research, propose and implement innovative strategies for service improvement.

Professional Development:

• Receive comprehensive mentorship and training through a 12month Personal Development Programme led by The Edge HPL Senior Team.
• Access to a CPD budget for continued professional growth.

Required Skills & Experience:


Essential -
B.Sc Degree in Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Sport and Exercise Science, Health and Exercise Science, or related field.

Some experience of physiological testing. This may include experience within a University setting, or alike.


Desirable:

• ISAK level 1 certification
• Accredited phlebotomist
• Graduate level registrant on the UK Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr).

Employment Details:

• Fulltime (37.5 hours per week), Monday-Friday (08:30 16:30)
• 12month fixed term contract with potential for permanent employment dependent upon personal and business performance.
• Location: The Edge HPL, The Leatherhead Club, Kingston Road, Ashtead, Surrey, KT22 0EE. 12 work from home days per week will also be considered by the team.
