We are currently looking to find a full time, qualified and experienced, Construction QS to join our long established team.
Role description and duties consisting of but not limited to the following.
- Based in our office at Denton Manchester, also visiting properties and sites throughout Greater Manchester on a daily basis.
- Working on various construction projects from £1000 £1,000,000
- Visit customers on site or at home to discuss and understand requirements.
- Measure and quantify works, including take off from drawings where possible.
- Carry out site survey including photographs, measurements and notes.
- Produce a BOQ along with detailed pricing of required works.
- Create a detailed well presented Quotation.
- Follow up on Quotations to gather feedback from customer and convert to sales where possible.
- Upon acceptance of quotes liaise with contractors, Finalfix office, architects, suppliers and customer to arrange works.
- Arrange supply of materials and contractors within agreed budgets.
- Arrange payment schedules.
- Raise and agree variations.
- Liaise with office to raise invoices and pay contractors / suppliers as and when required.
- Manage and report expenditure and profitability of projects throughout the works.
- Produce and share Weekly reports relating to projects.
- Relevant construction QS qualifications.
- Experience and understanding of various size Construction, Refurbishment and Maintenance projects.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent with Windows and XL.
- Ability to read and fully understand construction drawings.
- Full driving license.
- CSCS card preferred but not essential.

£30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
