Job Purposes:


To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Remake Office, accurately processing remake orders of UPVC Windows and Doors to ensure all installation deadlines are achieved.


Role of Department:
To provide and ensure an efficient service of remake UPVc products for the overall needs of the Company ensuring that all remake windows and doors are processed correctly and all queries dealt with efficiently


Key Areas, Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To manually interpret survey information supplied for remake orders
  • To liaise with other departments to ensure smooth production
  • To receive and book in all remake orders
  • To deal with customer queries on any remake orders with regard to technical problems and delivery dates
  • Check remake order to factory progress
  • To check order confirmations and query missing orders
  • To keep a daily record of all remake orders delivered to each depot
  • To monitor remake orders for each customer and investigate if excessive
  • To assist with calls from Service Engineers/Fitters with collection of materials
  • To record weekly and monthly remake costs, and submit to Accounts Dept
  • To record monthly remake faults, source of faults and comparison of trends
  • To maintain and file all remake paperwork and documentation
  • The finalised orders are fully printed, and the Glass List, Panel List and PVC List are booked out of the office and passed through to the Supply Chain Dept
  • To assist and provide cover for others in aspects of their work as delegated from time to time
  • To adopt a flexible approach to the role according to the needs and the resources of the Department and undertake all other duties as appropriate
  • To carry out any reasonable requests from any Senior Member of Staff
  • In conjunction with other team members, to ensure that flexible working arrangements are in place at all times, for the whole department, particularly during annual leave and sickness to cover team members if required
