Job Description Summary
Group Corporate Treasury (GCT) supports the Group Board in creating and maintaining the appropriate balance sheet structure to meet the Board's desired Capital, Funding/Liquidity and Structural Market Risk appetite, whilst providing the appropriate flexibility to accommodate the Board's Strategic plans.
The GCT Finance department supports the delivery of insightful management information to senior executives so that the GCT businesses deliver on their strategic aims.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Finance Professional to join Group Corporate Treasury's Financial Performance and Analysis team.
The team forms part of the wider Finance, and Reporting team and we're responsible for producing the management and executive reporting, planning and forecasting, including stress testing.
You'll play a key role in telling the 'story behind the numbers' to our internal partners and Central Finance. You'll have considerable exposure to senior treasury and finance partners and building trusted relationships is paramount in this role. You'll provide valuable insight that will aid decision support and ensure both timely and quality delivery.Skills and Experience
Highly Analytical and numerate.
Use source data and accounting knowledge to provide low and high level information on demand including deep dive analysis into defined areas of focus.
Understanding of Treasury Products and regulatory environment including the LBG legal entity structure
Strong drive and dedication with a consistent record of delivery
Business partnering to multiple partners; including senior leadership team.
A dynamic and flexible approach with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Experience of management reporting, planning / forecasting and decision support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Accountabilities
Actively participate in planning and stress testing activity across Treasury and the Legal Entity operating model.
Understand the P&L and Balance Sheet of a GCT Business area back to the strategy of the desk and the link into Transfer Pricing.
Contribute to GEC, GFRC and ALCO papers and other executive outputs
Leverage deep understanding of the business to make recommendations based on analysis conducted, manage risk and further generate ideas
