Excellent opportunity to join a global 3PL provider, as a Solutions Design Coordinator.

  • If you're a logistics or supply chain graduate or if you have 12 years operational experience and you're keen to pursue a career within Solutions Design or Project Management then this could be for you.
  • This role, will suit someone who is currently in logistic operations who is looking for a new challenge in solutions design or project management.
Our client is a fast evolving third party logistic company who are aggressively growing in the UK.


They specialise in the design and operation of supply chain solutions for Technology, Consumer home products, health care, automotive and industrial and are looking for a project manager to join their team.

The role of Solutions Design Coordinator is to aid in the design and implementation of new operational products and services within the 3PL network.


You will be expected to support the design of new solutions for current and perspective clients, following through initial proposals for clients and providing support when implementing warehousing and distribution solutions.


  • Create and aid in the implementation of robust innovative solutions for customers, clients and the contract logistics network.
  • Develop new operational practices and reports that are implemented into the day to day operations
  • Develop value stream mapping of new concepts, services and products to deliver lean provision solutions.
  • To support projects that enhance process and logístical solutions, and to measure and monitor process capability and performance.
  • Analysis of current operational processes with the aim of identifying opportunities to enhance business operations.
  • Produce, interpret and draw conclusions from business data to establish strategic direction.
  • Production of cost / benefits for future processes & projects
  • Embedding of new processes into the operation and monitoring of conformance.
  • Experience of identifying issues or opportunities within operations at Team Leader, FLM or Shift Manager level.
  • Detailed working knowledge of UK Warehousing and Distribution processes both Physical and Systemic.
  • Some exposure to automated equipment and systems.
  • Application of Industrial Engineering techniques or other Process Improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to simulation software & techniques.
  • Knowledge of relevant Legislation
  • Health and Safety, Employment Law etc.
  • Highly performance management focused
  • Excellent communicator


This role, will suit someone who is currently in logistic operations who is looking for a new challenge in solutions design or project management.


If you're a logistics or supply chain graduate or if you have 1-2 years operational experience and you're keen to pursue a career within Solutions Design or Project Management then this could be for you.

Salary - £30,000 - £40,00 plus benefits.
