Consultant (Portfolio Consulting Team)

We are seeking a consultant for a client who has market access experience across a selection of our functional areas, specifically health economics, who will provide management of projects/programmes and will contribute to partnership building activities with clients.

The role will report to a senior or principal portfolio consultant.


Responsibilities include:

  • Project and programme management across a range of functions and accounts
  • Strategic consultancy input to projects ensuring client requirements are met
  • Ensuring relevant HEOR expertise is utilised in delivering projects
  • Supporting technical experts to deliver high quality projects for our clients
  • Account development and partnership building, identifying new opportunities and growing business with established clients
  • Proposal development and contributing to pitch meetings
  • Act as Project Lead and client point of contact on several concurrent and/or related projects proactively assessing and managing risk
  • Lead on the development of high quality and strategically relevant proposals, engaging and partnering early with the client and articulating the clients's commercial, technical and partnership capabilities in the proposal. Cost work appropriately seeking senior or other technical input as required
  • Develop opportunities with existing clients and accounts through partnership development and account planning, and demonstrate high levels of repeat business and follow on work as a result of great client relationships and satisfaction
  • Act as a true partner to clients, may have a few clients they work with on an ongoing and detailed basis

Relevant experience

  • Market access experience, ideally including some experience in consulting
  • Experience in several of the HEOR functional areas
  • Experience in managing single or multidisciplinary market access projects
  • Proposal writing experience
  • First degree
  • Ideally, higher level degree in relevant area
