Greenscape Energy are seeking new team members to support our installation teams and to help us expand and grow as a business.

Key objectives of the role:
To carry out electrical installation work in accordance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IEE Regulations for Electrical Installations, and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
Main responsibilities:
- To be able to drive a company vehicle
- Making adjustments to building surfaces, so panels fit and are adequately supported
- Installing and maintaining solar panels on homes, business premises or open land
- Connecting solar panels to an electrical system
- Grounding electrical equipment and checking wiring
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
- Performing maintenance checks and fixing solar panels

To undertake any other duties as required by the Group from time to time; if these duties are of a greater level of responsibility or skill than those needed for the post, then full training and appropriate supervision will be provided.
You must ensure your health and safety at work and that of your colleagues and cooperate with the Association for it to fulfil its legal obligations.
Take responsibility for all transport, equipment or mobile phone devices issued or supplied for use by Greenscape Energy and ensure they are kept in excellent condition and secure at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential Skills required are as follows:
- Good knowledge of the general building and construction industry
- Good understanding and knowledge of essential Health and Safety
- Experience in ordering and collecting materials and plant hire
- Ability to make decisions and confidence in problemsolving
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent personal presentation and timekeeping skills
- Ability to display excellent Customer Service skills both internally and externally, generating a positive working environment
- Ability to work diligently with good attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to demonstrate technical skills in both core trade and associated trades
Desirable skills are as follows:
- Experience in property maintenance
- Health and Safety trained
- Current CSCS Card
- Analytical and Numeracy skills
- Knowledge of Apple/Microsoft Packages
About us:
Installers of Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV Panels, and renewable energy technology for home and business owners across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Salary:
Employed, Full time, permanent - £25,000 to £28,000 DOE.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (overtime and call-out rates apply)
