Our client is an accounting and advisory practice with offices in Manchester and Liverpool providing core services within Accountancy, Tax, Audit & Assurance and Transaction Services to clients throughout the UK.

Following a recent merger with a Liverpool firm the group has annual turnover of £3.5m with 45 people employed across the group.

The business was founded in 2015 with the vision of becoming a top 100 accountancy and advisory firm within the UK.

The firm was started from scratch and grown organically until August 23 when the first merger was completed.

The key growth strategies are continued organic growth led by our sales and marketing team, further merger and acquisitions and roll out of new service lines to compliment the existing client base.

There are currently 5 partners across the group with plans to develop and recruit additional partners to lead the various business units to continue to support growth.


In line with our growth strategy to roll our new service lines we have identified what we believe to be an excellent opportunity to setup a Wealth & Mortgages business to add value to and leverage our existing client base.

We are therefor looking for a highly experienced IFA who is up for the exciting challenge of setting up and growing a new business.

This individual will be responsible for setting up a new business unit from scratch, including all registrations and authorisations, networking and developing relationships with key introducers, driving sales and marketing activities and managing client relationships.

The individual will be supported by the firm in terms of utilisation of the sales and marketing and business support (admin) functions, introductions to existing clients, introductions to existing partner networks and key introducers.


The partners believe there is a great opportunity to grow this new business unit and for the right person who is prepared to take a risk they will be rewarded with equity and can share in the future earnings and value of the business.


Key requirements;

  • Selfstarter and highly motivated.
  • Ambitious and results driven.
  • Personable with ability to develop deep client relationships.
  • Large network of contacts and introducers with ability to generate own leads.
  • Experience in all aspects of financial planning and able to deliver engagements from start to finish
  • IFA qualified

Desirables

  • Chartered financial planner qualification
  • Experience in mortgages or commercial lending

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£70,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
