    Description

    Immersive Financial Leadership Opportunity in the Not-for-Profit Sector

    We are seeking an exceptional finance professional to provide interim support to a mid-sized charity based in London. The successful candidate will possess a strong accounting background, excellent communication skills, and experience in financial systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective financial policies that drive business growth and compliance.
    2. Management Accounting: Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while identifying areas for process improvement.
    3. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Assist with year-end accounts preparation, liaise with auditors, and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
    4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and make informed recommendations to optimise financial performance.
    5. Financial Analysis and Advice: Provide expert financial guidance to project managers, enabling them to make informed decisions.

    Requirements:

    1. A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
    2. Prior experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
    3. Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures, including Excel
    4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance colleagues

    What We Offer:

    1. An attractive day rate of £300-400pd
    2. The opportunity to work remotely or 1-2 days in central London
