Looking to start a new job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? You're in luck as we're looking for someone like you to join us as a Support Practitioner in our amazing #TeamCrudenlea in Stonehaven on a fixed term (35 hours per week) basis to cover maternity leave.


The Role


As a Support Practitioner, you'll become part of a friendly, fun team who supports nine individuals, all with various disabilities and additional support needs to live in their shared home.

The main focus of the Support Practitioner role is to support the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, including, shopping, finances, meal preparation, housework and personal care.

You'll also support with their hobbies and interests too so will find yourself enjoying time at the cinema and theatre, going to the football to watch Aberdeen FC, getting creative in the kitchen and various other indoor and outdoor activities too.


About You


At Cornerstone, we don't recruit on experience and qualifications; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills to be successful in your new role.

We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too

  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns


As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will usually fall into patterns of , , hours, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.


Please note - If you don't currently live in Stonehaven, we will need you to hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Depending on your size of contract, you will work around 2-3 sleepovers per month. Our sleepovers don't form part of your contracted hours, you'll receive an additional payment of
£87 for every sleepover shift you work
