A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
- Plan and deliver profitable, customer focused ranges. Provide the recommendations for the right stock at the right time with the right style and options for the customer. Lead, coach, and mentor your team._
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- _ Create and develop the product planning strategy for the department_
- _ Create, Inform, and influence the range framework to support with achieving margin targets_
- _ Collate and analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks to plan the range architecture_
- _ Review size analysis_
- _ Ensure range appeal across all markets through attribute and pricing architecture_
- _ Optimise/Plan/Build range size and newness phasing always considering "think customer first"_
- _ Lead and present financial KPI's, Demand phasing and OTB spend._
- _ Collaboratively present buy quantities supported with ROS and hind sighting validation_
- _ With PD Sign _off/Plan/review/handover_ buy quantities core and fabric production forecasts_
- _ Lead and present trade weekly_
- _ Lead trade and optimise sales with agility, identifying risks and opportunities_
- _ Identify daily/weekly/monthly sales, stock and BTA risks and opportunities_
- _ Proactively manage stock risks & opportunities_
- _ WSSI management including monthly reforecasting_
- _ Markdown management including markdown proposals_
- _ Terminal Stock management; seek best routes to clear internal & external_
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- _ Passionate about a career in merchandising_
- _ Experience in proactively managing workload, prioritising, and delegating_
- _ Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills_
- _ Highly analytical with attention to detail_
- _ Experience of being part of a team and working in a busy environment_
- _ Experience of working cross functionally_

- Manage under performance within the framework of the business performance review process
