Description

Our client, a long-established manufacturer and leading global supplier of pigments and dyes, is seeking a Reach FLT/Warehouse Operative to join their manufacturing team based on their site in Flint.

Due to their consistent growth and demand for their business, they are looking for hardworking and committed individuals to expand their team in order to meet demands.

Previous experience working in a factory/production environment would be advantageous but it is not essential for this role.


Shifts
This role is a 4-day working week, no 4 on 4 off.

The shifts will be rotating each week as stated below:

Week 1: 6AM - 6PM Monday to Thursday

Week 2: 6AM - 6PM Tuesday to Thursday and 6AM - 4:30PM on Friday.

This will mean that every two weeks you will have a 4-day weekend.


Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Organise and store inventory in the warehouse.
  • Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ensure that all items are stored properly and securely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
  • Pack iron oxide pigments into various bag types and sizes prepare them for shipping.
  • Ensure finished products meet the quality standards.


Given that you would be working with pigments and dyes, the manufacturing process given its nature can create quite a messy working environment.

Full PPE including overalls and masks will be provided by our client and use of showering facilities will be available.

Salary:
From £10.81 per hour
