Full Time - Permanent Hours/Week

They are currently looking for an Architect with experience of working with the ForgeRock Identity Platform (AM/DS/IG/IDM) as well as cloud native identity technologies to join our existing IAM capability and to work with the existing team to deliver enterprise-level identity solutions, provide Identity based consultancy whilst acting as our customers trusted advisor.

Software Services provides Identity and Access Management solutions and services to multiple enterprise customers spanning several key business sectors. We have a long-standing pedigree in Identity and are partnered with ForgeRock.

We provide a wide portfolioof services ranging from IAM Consultancy, Architecture Design and Build through to the fully managed service of enterprise scale identity platforms.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Trusted Advisor -

  • Deliver customer excellence via a customer driven consultative approach.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and educate customer and our wider internal technical teams.

Technical Excellence -

  • An identity obsessed individual, with a passion for embracing new identitybased technologies. Has a desire to work in niche technical environments. Highlight and mitigate risks.
  • Expert knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and concepts.

Continue to evolve -

  • Strong understanding of IAM industry trends and public cloud adoption.
  • Drives technical best practices to ensure that our services continue to evolve to utilise new technologies to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

What we'd like from you

Essential

  • Understanding of network layer security, PKI concepts, and cryptographic technologies (e.g., hashing, signing, encryption, TLS) Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with IAM technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Java Application Development.
  • Experience of delivering Architecture, Design and Build of cloud native identity platforms and solutions (Azure AD/AWS Cognito).
  • Ideally accredited in one of more ForgeRock components (AM, IDM, IG or DS), Azure AD or AWS Cognito.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Great troubleshooting/ faultfinding skills.

Desirable

  • Ideally accredited in Public Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure).
  • Expert technical knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and concepts.
  • An understanding across the breadth of technology domains and the relationships between major components. Expert knowledge of authentication and authorisation standards such as SAML, OAuth, Kerberos, OpenID Connect.
  • Knowledge of automated build and deployment "DevOps" tooling and approaches such as CI pipelines, Ansible, Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Public Cloud concepts.
